Great Product Development
System focus - integrated - to the point - market ready
Product development is our bread and butter – in which we honed our skills and redefined its purpose over the years. To us, great product development is much more than the physical representation only, it is about truly understanding the reason for the product – the why – and what will define its success.
We advocate (more proactive word) a system focussed way of product development. Considering the full setting in which a product is developed and the end environment it ends up in. From brand to sustainability, user base to business shareholders, from intellectual property to new technologies, from funding to market launch – we care about them all and more.
We pride ourselves in applied (user) research, basing our developments on transparent and evidential processes – creating original products that are authentic (different word!) and commercially successful.
Whether it is becoming your development powerhouse, helping your organisation get better at R&D, or partnering up to deliver breakthrough products and businesses – we are here to help.

Genuinely Intergrated
All our efforts are aimed at developing/contributing to products that do good – environmentally, socially and economically. To get there, we assess and integrate all aspects that lead to a successful outcome, championing both the bigger picture and the details.
This means we like to get across broad variety domains, such as business model, brand, intellectual property and product life-cycle (to name a few)- use the words from the diagram. We avoid silos and are committed to carving the best pathway to commercial success – one step at the time. Something about research – design – manage?? – explain the diagram
Fundamentally, we understand that product development spans much wider than a great idea alone. Our approach brings the broader tasks involved with commercialisation into the R&D domain; keeping us prepared at every stage of the journey.
Framework
Our development framework is structured in a series of phases. This way, we can accurately and effectively manage the process of developing new ideas all the way through to delivery to market. The framework has evolved over years of managing low- to high-risk development opportunities.
We tried and tested our framework in a wide range of industries and domains and used it in the formation of materials, physical products, services, software, and functional foods.
Essential to our approach is our initial discovery phase in which we dig deep and establish the feasibility of a programme at an early stage, before entering any technical development. Not only does it help us fully understand the potential of a product, but it also helps us lower any risks before we get into more capital heavy phases.
